Hey all!!!! Wow has it been a bit in catching up with you all. Life has been a bit hectic on my end. This past school year has been crazy with a lot of personal things going on. My hubby has had crohns for years and over this past school year had to have a major surgery so that of course came first in all things. Happy to report that he is doing fantastic. We have also lost some important people in our lives recently, which made being out for live painting this weekend really bittersweet with them not being there, but they would kick my butt if I didn’t start getting things rolling again. So with all that said…how’s it going everyone?! Time for some art things to come our way right?!?!?

Lots of art going on for me in April, first being my art teacher side with our big end of the year art show, so that takes ALOT of my time. It is one of the coolest experiences to see all the work go up and watch those littles just beam with pride. Art matters and gives those kids so so much.

RAIN BARREL fun is of course happening. Currently at the Cincinnati Zoo, I have a rain barrel that is up for auction to help raise money for both the zoo and Save Local Waters. I will hopefully get some pics of that barrel up in my rain barrel section here today and you can see it. You can see some pics on my insta both the @ktoby09 and @ktastudio85. ART ATTACK – wow what a great event I was apart of just yesterday. I live painted, which was amazing, just working on art and talking about it was so therapeutic and reenergizing for me yesterday. I have been showing some work at The Train Stop, or Monkey Bar as it is also known, once a month to try to keep myself going a bit in all the crazy over the past year or so, and through that I have met some truly awesome artists that led to this great gathering yesterday. I currently have a piece at The Strauss Gallery in Hamilton where this awesome get together happened. Get out there and check out the gallery, so many amazing works from amazing local artists, just a joy.

May 3rd in Hamilton – I will be back out in Hamilton on May 3rd for an awesome Star Wars weekend in Hamilton. I am working on getting prints and stickers made for this event, got a lot of great feedback on some prints people want. I will work on a piece while I am there and have some pieces available for purchase. I will share some more info about that when the event is close.

There is a lot more coming up for me this year, really happy to be back at it.
